About Us

The School of Energy Management was established in the year 2005-2006. The main objective is to promote interdisciplinary reserach and to provide necessary resource to students and scholars, in energy resources, planning, technology of energy uses in various sectors and energy related softwares for a wide range of applications.
The Department is currently focused on providing full time M.Tech (Energy Systems) & full time and Part time Ph.D. programs which cover exhaustively the area of Energy Management and providing energy and environmental co-relation and detailed information on environmental friendly energy conversion technologies and economics.

Objective

    The International Conference on Renewable Energy and Sustainable Environment: Challenges and Remedies (ICRESE-2020). Aims to provide an outstanding opportunity for academicians, scientists and professionals to address new and emerging developments, challenges and technological advancements in the field of renewable energy for sustainable environment. The vision of ICRESE-2020 is to create an international platform for the efficient communication between the researchers and practitioners working world wide on the diverse areas in energy and environment in sustainable ways with a common interest of a glorious future.

Paper Submission Guidelines

Authors can submit their abstracts/full papers pertaining to their original work, short communications, case studies, and review articles as per the conference themes via email at icresesmvdu@gmail.com.
  1. The papers should not exceed 10 A-4 pages and not shorter than 3 pages of technical content including figures and references.
  2. Papers having similarity measure of more than 10% will not be accepted for review. Refer: Plagiarism
  3. At least one author should be registered in order to have their paper accepted for the conference. Only registered authors are eligible for Paper/Poster Presentation. The corresponding author will be solely responsible for the content of the submitted paper(s).
  4. All submitted papers will be sent to reviewers for a blind review. The parameters based on which reviewers will evaluate the papers are Technical Content and Scientific Rigour, Novelty and Originality, Quality of Work, Relevance and Timeliness.
  5. All presented papers will be part of Conference Proceedings and the selected papers will be published in some reputed journals after the full review process and plagiarism policy of the concern journal. Submitted review papers (not published in journals) can also be published as book chapters with reputed publishers like TERI and Springer after the full review process and plagiarism policy.
  6. All submissions must meet the mentioned deadlines.

Paper Selection process

Step 1 : (Received) Abstracts will be received in relevance to the conference themes.
Step 2 : (Under Screening) Initial screening review will be done by the Technical Program Committee (TPC) of ICRESE-2020. Initial screening include relevance to the conference topic, plagiarism* and quality of work.
Step 3 : (Intimation) Selected abstracts will be intimated for the submission of full length papers through the respective journal submission portal.
Step 4 : Full length papers will be reviewed as per the journal guidelines.
Step 5 : Corresponding author will be notified about the outcome of the review process and the revised version of the manuscript shall be submitted within given time frame.
Step 5 : (Under Review) Revised version of the papers will be sent to reviewer in order to ensure that all the suggested corrections have been incorporated.
Step 6 : (Accept/Reject) Final decision will be taken by the organizing chair based on the recommendations by the reviewers/TPC and the same will be intimated to the corresponding authors.
* The authors must check the possible plagiarism in the paper before submission

Publications

All accepted abstracts will be published in the conference proceeding and will be invited for the oral/poster presentations.
The submitted full length papers will be peer reviewed as per the guidelines of given journals.
